Revolutionizing the Library Using Web Applications

Today is the first day of the pre-conference and kickoff.  I attended a paid session titled,   "Librarians on the Loose: Revolutionizing the Library Using Web Applications" session lead by Jim Holland, an Instructional Technology Specialist from the Arlington ISD. I have attended a training by Jim before for Google Earth.  You can visit his website, "Curriculum Magic" to see his books on Google Earth. He also has links for Google Earth, GPS and Geocaching.

The class description was:  To learn how to use free and simple web tools to market, motivate, integrate, and revolutionize by creating book walls, posters, trailers, recommendations, and more!
